"Sadly, we recently lost my lovely father in law and Michael was highly recommended to be the celebrant for his farewell service.
We had never met Michael before and, because of Covid restrictions, we only chatted to him over the phone when giving him the necessary information to conduct the eulogy. We immediately warmed to Michael. He is such a calm, kind and warm gentleman with a fabulous sense of humour, and his attention to detail is second to none! He prepared drafts of the eulogy for the family to approve and we were totally amazed as, on paper, it was like he was best friends with my father in law and had known him all his life. We were extremely pleased with what he had written and how it had been written. However the best was yet to come.
On the day of the funeral we met Michael at the crematorium shortly before the service - obviously suffering extreme grief.
Within seconds of the service starting we were totally fixated with the delivery of Michael’s eulogy. It was amazing and it honestly felt like he really had known my father in law all his life! He ‘got’ him so perfectly, his humour, work ethic, contribution to the community, love for his family - everything was perfect! We could not recommend him enough.
It was so lovely to hear all the wonderful comments that mourners made after the ceremony about Michael’s delivery of the eulogy. We honestly couldn’t recommend Michael enough! He was a star at a very difficult time and I know my father in law would have been ‘chuffed to bits’ with his farewell!
Many thanks again Michael!! "

Linking in to my life as an author, the most important thing I believe I can teach anyone who wants to be a Non religious Funeral Celebrant, is how to write the story of a person’s life and how to deliver that story These are two of the key ingredients to delivering a fitting service for a deceased loved one.
You will receive a certificate confirming you have attended and completed the course.
As you will know from browsing my website, I am an author, as well as a Funeral Celebrant....... Let me show you how to write the story of someones life..... a skill, I believe will set you aside and make people remember you........ it really is all about the story and the delivery.
My course typically runs over 1-2 days, depending on how much training you need. The length will really depend on how much we need to spend on you practicing the delivery of the service.
Cost?....... get in touch and let's have a chat.
Anyone can become a Non religious Funeral Celebrant. However, there are in my opinion certain attributes and skills you need to enable you to flourish and become a skilled celebrant.
The ability to communicate with people, the ability to enjoy speaking in front of others, a confidence in group situations and that you are a great personality with the ability to adapt to any audience.
If you possess these skills and characteristics, I am sure you have the ability to become a very professional and competent celebrant. If you have some of the ingredients already, I will give you the rest and show you how to bake the cake.
If you would like to have an informal chat about becoming a Non-religious Funeral Celebrant or in deed training on public speaking, please feel free to contact me via the contact page on this website.
