The Wrong Man was a brilliant read, New Blood, the sequel to The Wrong Man, didn't disappoint, it is even better. Gritty and exciting, it truly is a page turner...I couldn't wait to get to the but didn't want to finish it at the same time. I really do recommend reading this, but make sure you read The Wrong Man first. I cant wait for Michael's next book. - Lorna, Scotland

I'm really sad to have finished this book, the third of the series. His writing gets more exciting with unexpected twists and turns. All loose ends are addressed in surprising and imaginative ways. I slowed down at the end so l wouldn't finish it so soon. Then l learn there is more to come, about Franks early life. Intrigued to learn how Frank became the man he was and how he related to all those around him. I know the quality will be excellent and l really look forward to the new instalment. I am a convert to M J Elliott's amazingly skilful and imaginative writing. Mrs N, Scotland.

"This is the second book off this author's that I have purchased and wasn't disappointed.
I was totally immersed into the characters & the struggles they went through & couldn't put the book down.
I took it on holiday and read it in 3 days. Thoroughly enjoyed it and felt very moved by the story of the mental & physical abuse that Anna suffered and the way the writer has portrayed it.
Look forward to his next book."
